COVID19 Pool Rules - Phase 2

In order to follow CDC recommendations and guidelines for opening the pool, the following new rules will be in place:

  • Members in separate family groups are asked to stay 6 ft apart from each other. Furniture will be staged to help members stay socially distant and should not be moved. We are asking one family per table, please. The use of the diving board and slide will have safety markings on the ground to help members maintain safe social distancing. Members are responsible for helping young children follow these social distancing guidelines.
  • Waivers from each family will be required to enter the pool for this season. FXE is taking every precaution to keep members healthy and safe but cannot be held responsible for the safety risks of attendance. If you do not feel well, please do NOT come to the pool! No guests are allowed at this time. The only exception will be one nanny/caretaker if the primary adult members are unable to accompany their children.
  • Sanitation stations will be available throughout the pool for member use. The use of these stations is required at check-in when entering the pool deck. Wearing a mask is not required and will be at members preference. These sanitation areas will be clearly marked around the pool deck.
  • The CDC is allowing, based on our pool size, a total of 90 people on our pool deck. These numbers are broken down into no more than 7 bodies inside the baby pool at any one time and no more than 55 bodies allowed inside the main pool at any one time. Members are asked to stay 6 ft away from lifeguard stations at all times.
  • No pool floats, noodles, balls, or toys are allowed during phase 2 on the pool deck. This includes no use of ping pong, soccer, the basketball hoop, or the playground areas.
  • No lost and found will be maintained during phase 2. Items left at the pool deck will be promptly thrown away.* No concessions will be available during phase 2. The kitchen and grill areas will remain closed during phase 2.
  • The use of bathroom changing stalls and showers are available for emergencies but use is discouraged.
  • Please be courteous and clean and help keep your table and surrounding areas clean

As the CDC releases new information, the board will continue to keep members updated on any new changes to the above rules and recommendations.
